Cocktail Night? Look No Further

Every girl has gone through the nightmare of wanting to go out for drinks, but having no idea where to go. Really, all we want is good music, cheap(ish) alcohol and maybe a ruggedly handsome waiter to go all gooey eyed for. Is that too much to ask for? I don’t think so.

This past weekend it was my friends birthday and we had to find somewhere different to go, after loads of researching online we came across a bar in London called The London Cocktail Club. I can’t recommend this place enough! If you’re looking for a good night out in London that won’t cost an absolute bomb, definitely check this place out. It’s just off of Oxford Street, about a five minute walk from Oxford Circus tube station.

As you walk down the stairs into the underground bar, the music is blaring and its dark. Once all of your senses have adjusted you can see the decor, graffiti on the walls, tables scattered and the bar staff absolutely loving the music they’re playing.

The drinks that are on offer here are so inventive! We got one called Rumbongo, and it came in a giant money cocktail dispenser and tasted amaaaaazing. We also got Crack Baby shots, which were a fruity, alcohol-y concoction in a syringe, witty.

As the night went on, the cocktails flowed, from classic Pina Colada’s to blue tequila in a science beaker, called the Heisenberg. As we got a bit tipsy, we starting making friends with the bar staff and waitress, then they offered us a cocktail that wasn’t on the menu, called the Zombie. They ensured that it was the strongest they could make. Without going into too much detail…they weren’t wrong.

So if you fancy a night out in London with a good atmosphere, definitely check this place out!
